Pork belly is the ideal keto meal. It’s very high in fat, protein and literally no carbs. This easy to make spicy dipping sauce really sets it off.


Ssamjang is a Korean spicy dipping sauce is a thick and spicy paste used as a dipping sauce that goes perfectly with pork belly. 

For the Ssamjang  dipping sauce:

Getting it done

Slice pork belly into 1″ steaks for quick grilling.

Mix together all ingredients for the dipping sauce.

Grill or fry pork belly for 7-10 minutes per side. My favorite preparation is out on the grill.

Serve pork with fresh lettuce and dipping sauce on the side.

This sweet, spicy Korean pork is best when charred on the barbecue and served with ssamjang dipping sauce, kimchi and fresh crisp lettuce. Yum!
