Grilled Pork Belly lies somewhere in between a pork chop and bacon. Served with this spicy Korean ssamjang dipping sauce, it’s absolutely heavenly. Easy to prepare, affordable and definitely keto-friendly, make this tasty dish a staple in your dinner rotation.

Grilled Pork Belly with Spicy Ssamjang Dipping Sauce
Pork belly is the ideal keto meal. It’s very high in fat, protein and literally no carbs. This easy to make spicy dipping sauce really sets it off.
Ingredients
- 100g (3.5 oz) Pork Belly, cut into 1" steaks
- Fresh Lettuce for serving
Ssamjang is a Korean spicy dipping sauce is a thick and spicy paste used as a dipping sauce that goes perfectly with pork belly.
For the Ssamjang dipping sauce:
- 1 Tbsp Doenjang (fermented miso paste)
- 2 tsp Chili-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 tsp Erythritol or other Keto Sweetener
- 1 Tbsp Green Onions, chopped (the greens)
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
Getting it done
Slice pork belly into 1″ steaks for quick grilling.

Mix together all ingredients for the dipping sauce.

Grill or fry pork belly for 7-10 minutes per side. My favorite preparation is out on the grill.

Serve pork with fresh lettuce and dipping sauce on the side.
